About Silverledge
A steady hand with your retirement papers.
We started Silverledge because good organisational help for retirement documents was surprisingly hard to find — especially for those living outside their home country.

How Silverledge came to be
Silverledge began quietly, in the way many useful things do — out of a personal need. One of our founders spent several months helping an elderly relative sort through decades of retirement correspondence, pension statements, and administrative letters that had accumulated in a drawer. The task was not complicated in itself, but without a clear system it felt overwhelming. That experience stayed with us.
We launched Silverledge in Chiang Mai because the city is home to a large and varied community of retirees and older residents — Thai nationals and long-term expats alike — who often find themselves with paperwork that has grown out of control simply through the passage of time. No single folder. No clear labels. No easy way to hand things over to a family member or administrator when needed.
Our work is deliberately modest in scope. We do not interpret documents, offer regulated guidance, or make decisions for anyone. What we do is sit alongside people and help them build a system that makes sense: a folder here, a label there, a plain-language checklist to follow next year. Small steps that reduce a great deal of quiet stress.
Since opening, we have run sorting sessions for individuals and small groups, supplied household filing kits across the Chiang Mai area, and delivered our community information series to local resident associations and expat groups. Each time, the response is the same — people feel lighter once their papers have a home.
Our Mission
To give people a calm, unhurried place to sort out their retirement paperwork — without pressure, without jargon, and without any obligation to do more than they are ready for.
Our Values
Patience, transparency, and plain language. We take our cues from a quiet almanac — clear headings, readable type, and no surprises buried in the small print.
Our Commitment
We work within clear boundaries. Everything we do is administrative or educational. We will always tell you honestly what falls outside our scope and point you toward the right kind of help.

How We Work
Standards we hold ourselves to
Confidentiality & Discretion
All personal information shared during sessions remains strictly between you and our facilitator. We never retain copies of your documents or share details with third parties.
Clear Scope of Work
We are always transparent about what we do and do not do. Our services are administrative and educational only. If something falls outside that, we say so plainly and without hesitation.
Consistent Quality of Materials
Every filing kit and printed resource is reviewed before being given to a client. Checklists are tested for clarity with real users before they reach our final range.
Accessible for Older Readers
All written materials use large, legible type with generous spacing. Session pace is always adapted to the individual, with no rushing and no jargon.
Respectful Engagement
We approach every session as guests in someone's personal paperwork. We never judge the state of existing files and never push clients toward decisions they are not ready to make.
Data Privacy Compliance
We handle any personal data in line with applicable privacy standards. See our Privacy Policy for details on what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Our Expertise
Retirement paperwork support in Chiang Mai
Retirement brings with it a significant amount of correspondence — pension statements, government letters, insurance documents, and bank records that all need to be kept somewhere accessible. For many people, especially those who have lived in multiple countries or changed providers over the years, these papers can become genuinely difficult to manage.
Silverledge was built specifically around this problem. Our sessions are designed for people who are not in financial difficulty, not seeking legal help, but simply want their paperwork to make sense. A folder system that their spouse can follow. A checklist that reminds them what to review each April. A set of clearly labelled sections so that, if needed, a family member could find a document within a few minutes.
We work with residents in the greater Chiang Mai area, including Chang Khlan, Nimmanhaemin, Santitham, and surrounding districts. Our community information series can be brought to any group in the region — resident associations, expat clubs, and similar organisations are welcome to enquire.
The people who come to us often say they have been meaning to sort their files for years. Silverledge makes that step easy. There is nothing to feel anxious about, no paperwork to hand over permanently, and no commitment beyond the session or kit itself. It is, in every sense, a quiet and practical service.
